The Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards has come and gone, with salons and stylists from around the country earning the right to call themselves the best of the best and it was a fantastic night for Rainbow Room International’s Owners, Alan and Linda, who scooped the incredible Lifetime Achievement Award.
The event saw over 500 of the hair and beauty sector’s most talented people come together to celebrate at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow and almost 30 awards were handed out on the night. The ever-glamorous Josie Smith hosted the event as well as former River City star, Gary Lamont and top industry names including Errol Douglas MBE, Fellowship President Karine Jackson, and Wahl’s European Artistic Director Simon Shaw were on hand to present awards to the delighted winners, following a four-course dinner and live entertainment.
Alan and Linda were awarded the Lifetime Achievement award for establishing Rainbow Room International as one of the jewels of the hair and beauty industry in Scotland. Since establishing their business back in 1979, Alan and Linda have grown Rainbow Room International to become Scotland’s largest premier hair group, with twelve salons across Glasgow, Ayr and Stirling. The group have won a host of awards and gained an international reputation for their creative skills and technical excellence and from doing this, it’s apparent why they are so deserving of this award.
Linda commented, “We put our heart and soul into Rainbow Room International and have worked incredibly hard to take the group where it is today, so to be recognised for this with the Lifetime Achievement award is truly incredible. Without our fantastic Rainbow Room International team this wouldn’t be possible and we are so thankful and grateful to have this team behind us.”
